Just to look past the violence and don’t immediately assume that the series is filled of random, unnecessary deaths and gore. The theme of Higurashi is friendship and breaking fate, the message in Higurashi is really hearwarming and wonderful but too many people think it’s a psychopath anime which is such a shame because they’re gonna miss out on so much </3

Day 22: Least favourite thing about the series;
I said on a previous day about Higurashi Kira being a more comedic ova series and that I would’ve prefered maybe a prologue arc or something like that rather than episodes with a load of ecchi scenes. It’s hard to say what I dislike about the series >n<

Day 21: Favourite thing about the series (whether in the series itself or within the fandom);
Plot, plot, plot, plot. Seriously Ryukishi07 did such an amazing job on the storyline, how it’s split into question and answer arcs, keeping the truth hidden from the audience until later on so you sit there like ‘wow, so that’s how it happened, jesus christ..’. For me personally it’s one of the best storylines I’ve had the sheer pleasure of watching/reading <3
I’ve spent almost 4 hours reading all the chapters so far of Deadman Wonderland which is I think 52 chapters, totally fucking worth it though. This series is so badass and I absolutely love Minatsuki, she’s such a sadistic psychopath and she freaked me out when I first saw her fight Ganta xP. Now I need to watch the anime~
